Default Rejex question

I have Rejex ready to use. What should I clean the chrome wheels with before using Rejex?

About 2 months ago, a good friend (C6 owner also) gave me a can of Honda cleaner/polisher after he heard me complain about cleaning my wheels.

This stuff is the best and easiest to use over everything I've tried up to date. Spray it on and wipe off. No waiting around to let it foam up and soak in like some other cleaners. Cleans off water spots on chrome with one wipe. No elbow grease either.

As mentioned, just soap and water, clay bar everything and put a thin coat of easy on/easy off Rejex. Don't wax the car.

Dawn in warm water to remove the grease and grime. Then Rejex, wait 24 hours, then another coat of Rejex, then a good car wash in warm water from then on out to keep 'em clean. Same for painted, polished and chrome wheels.

Dawn and water but I have also used Mother's Chrome Polish on a few spots on the outside but not the barrels because they are painted.

I like to use Meguire's All Wheel Cleaner on my chrome wheels before putting on a fresh coat of Rejex.

Is Rejex good for repelling brake dust? This dust is driving me crazy.

It helps but not totally One thing I did notice that you can get most of the dust off with a strong stream of water

If you want to REALLY improve the appearance of your wheels and simplify your life change your brake pads out to ceramic. You'll be amazed how much cleaner your wheels stay - and how much easier they are to keep clean. No contest compared to standard pads.

I agree, it's great stuff. They don't make it anymore, there's another company that does, it's in the same can. Doesn't say Honda on it anymore.

Harley-Davidson has the same type of product, I bought it once, it's not nearly as good.
