Just got my 09 c6 to replace my 05 c6---I have a 3lt package---where is the auxiliary input jack for an ipod--cannot find it in the manual.Also--has anyone experienced a bang or popping noise from the drivers side rear when going over a bump? The dealer says there is a tech bulletin out about this issue.
Thanks bruce@optonline.net
To get this part out of the way up front, if you have a navigation radio, you don't have one. Now, if you have a base radio or the in-dash six CD changer then the auxilary input jack is a 3.5mm (1/8") phono jack on the top right corner of the face of the radio. You simply plug a mini-phono cable (male to male) from the head phone jack of your mp3 player to the jack and press the aux button on the radio.
If you have the standard Bose radio with 6-disc CD that comes with the 3LT, then the Ipod jack is at the top right corner of the radio. Otherwise there is no Ipod jack.
Yes I do have Nav--I can't believe that they couldn't find a way to add an input jack!!
The 3 lt package specifically states that a input jack is included.

To answer your question about the popping noise...
After several months of trouble free driving I starting hearing that popping noise everytime I hit a bump in the road. I took it to the dealer and they replaced the passenger side door latch. I haven't heard it since.

Hello,
If you don't have a jack in your C6 radio then you can go to "Best Buy" and get a little FM transmitter that will connect directly to your IPOD. Then tune your Corvette radio to a predetermined frequency and you will hear your IPOD being broadcasted.
