I am planning on getting the Borla stinger exhaust for my 07. Should I also get the x-pipe? Does the x-pipe void the warranty or remove the cats? Money is not the issue here it is just keeping the warranty.
I got the Borla S-Type system for my '07 (manual tranny) without their X-pipe thinking I would try just the over axle system initially and add their X-pipe later if I thought it was needed. That worked out well because I like that setup with the OEM H-pipe. If you feel the need to add the Borla X-pipe, it can be ordred by itself and added later without any trouble.
The OEM H-pipe and the Borla X-pipe both attach behind the factory cats, so there should be no warranty issues if you do want to use the Borla X-pipe since the cats are not altered. Only headers will require the OEM cats to be replaced or eliminated.
you will like the Borla Stingers I have that setup with American Racing Headers and off road cats with X-Pipe hooked up to my A-4 sounding great a little drone but bearable
