Default Help! Which Partition?

Need help on deciding which rear partion to buy. Madvette Motorsports (Vettebin.com) or Exotic Vette. They both look really good.

Lots of past threads on the pros and cons on these. Only real concerns are matching the color of the interior and whether or not you have to remove the partition when storing your top (didn't check your profile but assume you have a coupe). I went with one from Southern along with their storage tray. Good match on interior colors but I do have to lay the partition down when going topless.

I like Exotic Vettes. It looks good, you can store the top, cuts down noise and the rear speakers sound better.

and mine was a perfect match with the interior, found some black trays at target that fit perfectly on each side for a nice finish touch and keeps small items from rolling around if you just need a little extra storage.

I agree, it fits nice and snug and has no impact on the ability to stow the top

I like mine, it cost me about $50 and an enjoyable afternoon. I used some cardboard to cut out the pattern (easy to make adjustments), when to Lowes for some wood and walmart for some Auto Carpet, measure, and measured again, cut, sprayed glued, and a stapled gun and Viola! Top fits perfect and have plenty of room under the shelve for nik naks. It's just fun doing it yourself sometimes...

Both styles mentioned by the OP can be left up while storing the top. The ebony covering used in both also appears to be identical (I have some from each vendor). The ebony matches the car perfectly, but not so much the green tinted ebony of the Lloyd's mats. It all comes down to which style you prefer, and if you want the option of adding bins.

I like MadVette Motorsports' Vettebin and partition. Not only can you stow your roof with the Vettebin, but you have your choice of options also. The Vettebin has lockable lids. This is great since the center console no longer has a lock. The bin has a cell phone receptacle for recharging. Dave will also install a light in the bin. Believe me, this is handy. Any special options you may require, can probably be accommodated. I've been to his shop and I've seen him do some custom bins. I think the best feature about this bin and partition is that it looks like it is original equipment. Oops, well, better than OEM.

I have Exotic Vettes and love it. It looks factory made not an aftermarket accessory.

That is the one I have. Very nicely constructed. The locking bins are nice for storage, and the color match is perfect. It looks like it came that way. It also helps with wind noise if the windows are open. I also feel the radio sounds better since I installed them. It also helps with stuff in the trunk not rolling all the way forward. I always worried that in an emergency stop, something could come flying forward.

I would highly recommend this.

I've only had the Exoticvettes one, so have no basis for comparison. I especially like the light weight and the ability to quickly remove it to gain extra space and put it back just as easily.

I have one from MadVette Motorsports also.. Looks great in the car good color match etc.. I personally like the fact the storage units are covered which makes for a much neater car.. Also liked the idea of not having to remove the partition to go topless.. Only my 2 cents.
