Call me crazy .. was tempted by the empty long road..in the test track
first time for me to drive that fast in any car.
190mph
and the black beast wanted more but im not up for more! 
I guess this is normal to some of you..mine is a stock C6

It better have been on a closed race track or test facility - - -and not on a public highway! You might want to add that inference to your post or risk having it closed for you.

I tried that in 1957 in a new Vette (obviously it wouldn't go that fast). Unfortunately, at speed, a long straight level road isn't so long, isn't so straight, and isn't so level. Anyway, a nasty oak tree jumped out in front of me. Bye, bye, '57 Vette.

Don't worry - the speedo is good but not dead accurate at that speed. I doubt if he was doing anymore then 180.......
