Default mechanical drawbacks

Is there any mechanical drawbacks to driving only once a month.Maybe 100 miles

The biggest problem with only driving your Vette once a month is that over time, your smile muscles with begin to weaken.

It is proven fact that people who smile and are happy tend to live longer. I suggest you try to drive your Vette at least every day, weather permitting.

Not so much mechanical as anatomical. Your "corvette wave" muscles would atrophy, leading to rotator cuff instability and, through the cervical-subscapularis reflex, a tendency to drool in public.

The key is to get the oil temp up to normal temps. The condensation that resides in the oil after sitting for some time needs to evaporate out. If the temps don't get high enough, the condensation becomes acidic and the bearings don't like that too much.

And you may begin to suffer from envy of the guys driving their cars more often and/or get a sore neck from turning your head watching the other Vettes go by
