Default Help with driver's side window problem

I took the cover off my '05 a couple weeks ago to check that my battery was ready to go and it was fine. This morning I took the cover off to drive it for the first time this year and the battery was completely dead. Wasn't sure why, but I charged it slow all day and it was fully charged tonight.
So I took it out for a little ride to make sure I had not left any Acc on last time which might have caused the battery drain. Long story short; I discovered that my driver's side window does not go up the last 1/2" to seal itself shut.

Does anyone know what is wrong and what I should do next?

I have tried up, down, power on, off; opening and closing the door etc and it just won't go up.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

you need to re-index the windows after dead battery or if the battery is disconnected.
Details are in the manual, you will be told

Basically , sit in the car, close both doors , turn ignition on , roll both windows together all the way up , keep holding the up both buttons for 10 seconds, release , then hold up again for another 10 seconds , that should clear your problem .

Your windows may need to be re-indexed by doing the following:

Re-index......when you close the windows, hold the switches up for 3 seconds after they reach the top. Let go of the switches then hold them up again for 3 seconds.

Windows always need to be re-indexed after disconnecting, then re-connecting the car battery. Usually, that's all.

Be sure to remember to do both of them.

Thanks for all the quick feedback. Problem solved. I feel like a complete moron though since I looked right at the section in the manual and never read it to make the connection myself.

Nice to have a place to come for help.
