Default Monterey

I guess this goes out to our west coast friends.I been watching CHASING CLASSIC CARS on the HDTHEATER channel this guy goes to Pebble Beach every year. They were saying that the whole area around Pebble Beach just comes alive with classic cars and people from all over come to check out the cars.It even looked like there was one Corvette club parked in a rest area checking out the cars.My question is has any of our west coast friends been up there and what would be best places to view cars? I would love to plan a trip like this!!!!!!!

It's about a two week event from before to after the actual Pebble Beach concours. Our NoCal friends will chime in.

My trips there have coincided with races at Laguna Seca, the street display in downtown Monterey, the Ferrari concours which is separate, etc.

I'd say also look into Monterey visitors bureau, the race track (laguna seca), as well as Carmel where the actual Pebble B. concours is held.

And you will need to make hotel reservations way in advance. Best likelihood is you will be in another town, not too far away.

It really is like no other tho. Oh, and don't forget the two major auctions that take place, too. Extra cars are on display for that as well.
