Not sure if it actually stands for anything, but is just the option code GM uses.
??

It is just the option code for duel mode exhaust.
For example, my rims are option code QX3.

Of course! I thought it might be an acronym.
I guess I must be mired in the era of RPOs, COPOs and FSOs.
