No wonder it doesn't work! The video says its there and the Owner Manual does too. Looking up the visor clip sure looked empty to me. My 94 had it so I thought this one would too. Must be a cost savings thing. Bet I could shove an LED up there.........
They stopped putting them in the cars around the first part of '08....
Cars built after mid-January as I recall no longer have the light. If you don't know your build date you can get the month and year from the decal on the drivers side door.
For those that have the light, it comes on automatically based on input from the light sensor on the dash. It is simply a faint amber glow. It was known as a wash light and it is simply to provide a small amount of light around the console area at night. It was located in the passenger side visor clip in a recessed hole that can be seen in my photo below.
