Default slight scratches

I have a couple slight scratches on my front bumper. I bought the car used and it had them on there perhaps someone backed up on it. It really isnt that bad you can only notice it when your up on the car. I have tried waxing and using clay bar and doesnt seem to be working any suggestions.

Try Meguiar's Fine-Cut #2, followed by Meguiar's #7 Mirror Glaze or 3M Imperial Hand Glaze and then wax. Works for me on light scratches. If they don't disappear, they will become less noticeable. You'll get 50 different answers but try this way first as it's fairly gentle.

Sounds like it will at least need high speed buffing. I think it would be worth it to go to a pro detailer or body shop. Find one with an experienced professional buffer who knows what he is doing. Likely only a few dollars to take care of it. Good luck.

A little baking soda on a damp rag works for me if they are not to deep. It will not make the scratches worse.

clay bar does nothing for swirls and scratches......its for removing air borne contaminants from the clear coat.

porter cable orbital buffer and Zaino Fusion. Take your time. You'll get em down. Then coat it up with Zaino zfx/z5pro.......

I've used the same Meguiar's products with good results!

All the previous suggestions definitely have possibilities, but if you can catch the scratches with your fingernail it's most likely past the point of polishing/buffing. They may improve somewhat, and that could be good enough rather than opt for repainting a complete fascia. Good luck!
