mmmmm the scoop "works" for what it was designed for.....its purpose is to cool the supercharger, if you are meaning working like a ram air hood, no need....the engine is forced induction.

You are correct sir.....it is not connected to the air intake. The hood was designed by Lingenfelter to help cool their supercharger packages. It moves air across the top of the blower and exits out the back of the hood. I think it would not take much engineering to make this a functioning ram air hood however.
