Programming new fob
A friend of mine just bought a 2007 C6. Only one fob came with the car. The dealer sent him a new fob to replace the lost one. He can't seem to get it program using the procedure in the manual. Is there something the dealer has to do to this new fob first?

I had the same problem with the new #2 fob supplied to me. The car wouldn't recognize the new fob as #2. It would recognize it as #3 which didn't allow for personalization of the seats or DIC so I had to take it to the dealership and they had to program it with a handheld programmer they had.
