About Kooks 1 3/4" headers.Help!
Hi,
I want to buy Kooks 1 3/4" headers.I jhave 2007 Z51 C6 with Borla catback system with xpipe (part number:140128) Shall I use this headers with borla's xipe? Kooks has also xpipe but I don't want to give extra money for it.Does anybody use kooks headers with different xpipe?

Typically 99% off all of my customers which purchase kooks products use kooks x-pipes as well, because the insurance of fitment. There is not concern of the exhaust system not installing improperly.
However more then likely the Borla X-pipe will mate up ( I have no personal experience with this hear, or in our service department), it just may not have the best fit. I would suggest going with the kooks headers, and x-pipe combo for guaranteed fitment. The only system that I found that will bolt directly to your borla cat back is b&b headers,then you will have no cats,all other system you have to buy thier long tubes with thier hi flo cats,then these system will fit with your over the axel exhaust(stingers)so basically your borla mid pipe is a waste if you have emissions testing where you live(b&b header are the only ones that will mate up to the cat back )
