to know...

why just the pilot side heated seat is not working. Co-pilot side works fine. Press pilot side heat button and it flashes once and dies.. Circuit breaker works as the windshied wipers and co-pilot heat works...

Could be many things but it sounds like a bad switch to me. If there was a short in the system the fuse or circuit breaker would blow.

I'd start by checking the switch and the connections under the seat.

Connectors under the seat have been the culprit many times. Hope that's all it is. Best of luck.

You might also want to check the "Driver's Heated Seat" fuse:

If all the things mentioned above check out...ya may have to take a look at the heat coils themselves, they may have a break in them. That means removing upholstery from seat cushion.

If you were holding it with your right hand, then yeah. What happens is when you reached across with your left hand to press the button to turn the heaters on, your right cheek depressed into the seat too far, thus breaking the heater connection.

If you'd have used your left hand to hold it, then this wouldn't have happened.
