I need help. I have a 2005 C6 A4 with 6700 miles. Car never gives me problems. Drove it 2 days ago no problem. Went to start this morning... garage kept.....lights came on...left turn signal started to flash...yellow engine block symbol appears...then no start...then warnings...no fob detected...put foot on brake...etc...
This car has been perfect from day one....any ideas of the cause...and the cure???
My 2005 also has same tbl.I've only had my car 5 days. Driving it home after it was delivered by auto transport all tbl codes that could be displayed showed up also i noticed oil and gas showed 0 psi and empty tank. After shutting car off and calling dealer best they came up with was car may have not been left in reverse and drained battery.Car started up i drove home shut car off then was unable to exit car or restart for 2 hours.Car has been at local dealer now for 3 days they have been trying to get it to do same thing so that they may be able to get a readout in real time.Previous owner of 3 years never had a problem.battery was replaced 1 month ago.I've dealer finds anything i"ll be sure to let you know.Good luck James

Check the terminals - since the battery was just installed, if the terminals are not on tight to make a good connection, the battery will not be charged enough.
Also, since it was not in reverse, it may have caused major cell damage when the battery drained....

Have you checked your FOB battery? But, it sounds like a battery issue to me also.
If your the original owner and never had DBS it's not that. If it's the original battery it is time to replace it. My 05 original battery died after 22 months.
Your battery is old by now...it died when you hit it with starting current. After it got hit and died, its voltage was low enough to cause all the electrical errors...almost anything can be caused by low voltage. Go get a new battery

Also, one other thing to mention and as crazy as it sounds, just trust me. If you keep your iPhone in the same pocket as your keys or it directly covers your FOB, then the signal will not be strong enough to transmit.
I thought this was the dumbest thing I've ever heard, until I tested it, and sure enough it holds true!
Take your iPhone out of your pocket and try starting it again!
It was an issue with the '05 with M6 tranny. Car had to be in reverse prior to turning the engine off or the computers would stay alive and drain the battery.
I am having the same problem with my 05. Everything works except it will not start. I just put a new battery in it about two months ago. I am the original owner and I have never had a problem with it. So I had it towed to the dealership to have them check it out. It took the dealership three days to figure it out and they said it was a bad computer. Well the computer is under a 80K mile warranty and they are in the process of replacing it. I will keep you posted.
well i just got my c6 last month and after eating one day i went to start her up and nothing happened, everything turned on but no crank, so , i just turned it off then made sure that i had the clutch in really far and it started right up, so im basically useless to this conversation, but make sure that you have the clutch in really deep to start it, what can i say, im still getting used to it haha,
