Default DIC codes
Hey Guys, I just bought a 2008 a few months ago. Can you scan the DIC codes on the dash like you can on a C5.

No, you have to have a scanner.

Yeah I tried to check the codes on a C6 today the same way I did on my C5 and it didnt work. If this is true that really stinks.

As noted, the feature was disabled on the C6. There is no way to scan the codes via the DIC. There is no button sequence to enable it. You will need to use a code reader. You can get a CAN capable code reader for $60.00 from several online retailers that will read and clear the codes.
