With all the options these days for clear front end and side protection, why do people still use fabric? In my option it destroys the look a a beautiful car when in use.

I was attending Carlise right before participating in the Atlantic caravan to bowling green. One of the venders had the last Novistretch fabric protector that fit my Grand Sport. Was very easy to install while parked on the Fun Field and also
very quick and easy to remove. No new holes or mods to the car required. Wanted some kind of protection for the 1800 + mile trip. It worked very well especially coming back on the Blue Ridge Parkway. A lot of that road was less than
stellar including quite a bit of construction and "loose gravel" sections. I was kinda worried to see what the car would look like after seeing and hearing parts of that road. I was happy to see a still pristine front of the car when it was removed when I returned. I am not a fan of the look but this cover really seemed to do it's job.
