2005 manual---My drivetrain seems too have gotten a little loose. Feels like a worn universal joint at times with a kind of clunk when I let off at low speeds or shift. Any thoughts? Anything with the torque tube that can get loose. I have GMPP so Im thinking about just driving it til it gets worse or breaks.

The driveline in the torque tube has some couplings that could be causing your problem. I wouldn't take the drive it till it breaks approach with this problem. That could lead to additional part damage that the service department could try and pin on you for not maintaining the drivetrain with a known problem.

I took it in...the vette tech and shop foreman took it for a test ride....said go ahead and drive it...there is a bulliten out there that says this is normal and they gave me a copy. I told them its louder now then before...so i will drive it like I stole it and see what happens. Im on record for bringing it in and if the torque tube blows if got a 200 deductable GMPP. I bought it just for this kind of crap.
