Default Looking back

When I sat down for the first time in our C6, I just couldn't believe how high the front fenders appeared from the drivers seat. It looked like what I imagined an old D Jag or Testa Rosa was like from the drivers seat. Those two great big bubulous fenders framing the road ahead. what a neat sensation.

Now after 17 months I think the fenders have become much flatter, It's just doesn't seem the same. Is it just me or have other forum members noticed the change?

Sagging fenders are just a natural part of the ageing process Larry.

You need to sit in a 68-82. The front fenders on my C6 aren't as high as the ones on my 64, which are relatively flat compared to the 68-82.

I don't seem to notice the fenders as much as I used to, but it's definitely still a Vette. I think I've just gotten used to driving a C6
over the last 4 years.

Exact same here, only it didn't take 17 months for me to feel that way, only about 4

it could be that your getting more comfortable with the car and have stated to lean the seat back farther

Or he's getting shorter so he's raising the seat higher?

I've had the same thoughts and I've owned it for only 9 months (and it was in storage for 5 of those).

My exact thoughts D Jag but better. The Vette Team took every good design and combined it with the Vette design and ended up with the best looking car ever bar none. I marvel often on the Vette's fenders they look like good *****.

Reminds me of my first 356A Porsche.

Sagging C6 fenders are a known problem, but only with white cars. Red ones actually get bigger as they become engorged with fat tires beneath them.

I can see the pavement. Always a good sign.

Tomorrow, it's supposed to 65. Took the day off to put a coat of Rejex on my girl.
