Default Nav question

Is there a way to make smaller "secondary" roads appear like more than a faint line on the screen? I have an 05 Yukon with factory nav and even the smaller roads are easily seen. Not sure if there is a setting on the vette nav that I'm missing. Any help would be appreciated!

Have you tried adjusting the zoom?

Zoom in to 1/8 mile scale or finer. When using 1/4 mile scale on up, many roads are dropped off the display to speed the graphics. This is done across many GM nav systems as all that I have worked on have required 1/8 mile scale to see most subdivision roads.

I have tried adjusting the zoom. The road is there if you look very close. It's just very faint and very very thin. Pretty much impossible to see while driving and especially in the daylight.

I'm wondering if a nav update changes this? I believe mine is the version that was out right before the latest version..

I have the latest v5.0 that replaced my v4.0. The graphics are no better, and the data base isn't much better. I also have a Garmin and their graphics make the Corvette's graphics look like an etch-a-sketch play toy. I take the garmin with me when I'm traveling in the Vette.
