Corvette discontinued...
Twice today I've been asked what I thought about GM discontinuing the Corvette. Both times from friends who say they've heard it today on TV or the radio. Neither could account exactly the rhetoric used, but in their opinion the announcement was valid breaking news.
I have not heard that GM officially has canceled production of the Corvette and feel this is just rumor stemming out of the economic woes of the manufacturer, however I haven't been listening to the media today. Anyone else have solid info?

Sadly, the Obama administration has Kyboshed the Vette... more specifically, they have terminated the F55 immediately.

Nothing but a reach on someone's part. Nothing official that I have seen. The assembly plant is currently on a two week shutdown, not discontinued.
