help!!!

my shifter broke (mn6). I'm having trouble disconnecting the wires to the traction control and cigarette lighter/power outlet near the center console. I got the other wires out easily, but these one's are a pain. does anyone know how to disconnect these wires? thanks for any input.

I think you have to release the tabs thru where the lighter plugs in with a msall screwdriver. Please double check though and make sure the battery is disconnected. When I changed my shifter I was able to work around eveyrthing and didn't have to remove the lighter/cnsole.
