Just became a first time Corvette owner, picked up an immaculate, Silver 2006 C6, 6 Speed manual, non-z51 just a base... Although I have had old V8 muscle cars including a 70 Nova 350ci, 68 Firebird 350ci, and 70 Grand Prix 400ci, I have never owned a newer GM and am looking for some direction on the dollar for dollar mods of choice. I assume Intake, catback, maybe a tune or even a cam but most of my experience with tuning modern cars is in turbo S4's and a 335i, so your advice is much appreciated. All the best.
It all depends on which road you want to go down. Would you like to start with eye pleasing mods like interior customization, or would you rather focus on performance modificiations! Either way its a good choice because of the car its on!

Power mods first, like intake and exhaust as they add power and sound... Maybe wheels next but I can figure that out on the wheel forum
IMO, if you want decent power without swapping your cam, go with a Vararam, long-tubes, FAST and tune. I think the stock intake and the cam are the weak points of the LS2.
