Went to start C6 after winter hibernation. Has been on trickle charger. Opened door but no green light on starter button. Orange check engine light is the only icon on. Won't start. Any ideas?

How long has it been on the trickle charger? Did you have it on all winter this way? Where do you have the charger connected?
For the last 30 years, I have simply removed the negative cable from the battery. In 99% of the first starts, the battery was fine. Maybe there was more drain than the charge. In other cars when the AC/Delco went south, I would replace it with a Diehard.
I stored mine at the end of last october,so I disconnnected the battery
for the winter and didn`t put a tender on it...last week I went
back to get the car, reconnect the battery and to my surprise it
started right away. It`s a 07 with the original battery !

If you don't have a tender that is exactly what you are supposed to do. Disconnect the negative terminal on the battery to prevent any further parasitic drain from the systems in the car.
These cars were made to be driven. Keeping it in storage and not running it can be bad for all components on car. Some of these low mileage queens have more problems.
To eliminate the possibility of the battery being bad, you might want to try hooking a known good battery - one with 12 volts in in! If it returns to (near) normal, it is a bad battery (or a near dead one). If the battery is dead or bad, you should also check out the battery minder.
If the problem still exists, it likely isn't the battery. This is when I would make the call to the shop.
Thanks everyone for the posts. I ended up replacing the four-year old battery. It was not holding a charge from a charger after an overnight charge so I decided enough was enough. Installed a new Sears Diehard this afternoon and all is well.
