I am getting new tires & wheels. My problem is that I may be getting them the day before I leave town & may not have time to have the sensors reset. Will this be a problem? I assume this has to be done at the dealer. Thanks for the help.

You can drive the car without programming the new sensors.
If they're not runflats, then you'll know when you lose pressure from the handling feedback, although low profile tires are somewhat like runflats with a pretty stiff sidewall.
If they're runflats, you really need sensors. You just don't get any handling feedback if you lose pressure when going straight down the highway. But, when you build up a sideload on an off-ramp at a normal speed, you may very well lose control because you never knew you lost pressure.
You don't need to go to a dealer. As a matter of fact, I'd stay away from a dealer. Most Discount Tire shops will do the relearn procedure for free. If you have to leave on a road trip without the sensors programmed, just try to stop at a Discount Tire somewhere along the way and get them to do the procedure - it only takes about 2 minutes.
See the video below so you can help them put the car into the "learn mode" and then program the sensors.
