headlight repainting?

has anybody had luck taking apart c6 headlight's for a color change? if so any info would be a great help, thank's!

Cut them open with a dremel and clean out the remaining adhesive in the channel. They are sealed with a Urethane bond adhesive very similar to the adhesive that is used to hold your windshield in place.

It is not something that I would recommend trying if you are not a body guy or mechanic. I can sell you the factory painted ones if you are interested in keeping your originals to sell or put back on the car if you sell it. PM if interested in a price.
