Default Some C6 questions!!

Well I have all my part's made for my C5 and will be making a bunch of stuff for the C6, here is a link to my C5 stuff. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...ody-parts.html

Any ideas and suggestions to what we should make would be appreciated. However we are thinking of making a full ZR1 conversion for the C6 (minus the hood) the hood will most likely be a MCM style hood such as we did for the C5. We were curious if the ZR1's front bumper and rear bumper are actually wider than say a C6/C6Z etc? Sorry I dont spend too much time researching the C6. Im pretty sure the front and rear fenders are wider correct? Anyway sorry if it's a dumb question, but we'd kinda like to know so we can get started on this stuff. Thanks

Front bumper and rear quarters are the same on the Zr1 as the Z06
The Front Fenders are different in the side vent area otehrwise the same width. The splitter on the front bumper is different but its a bolt on.
Look forward to seeing what you come up with

I'm still not quite done saving my nickles to be able to afford my C6, so I'm not toooootally qualified to say what I'd buy when I do.

That said, I am a HUGE fan of the look of the C6RS from Pratt & Miller. The vented fenders, the larger scoops... it's just different enough to look really aggressive without looking like a body kit. If you sold something like that, I'd think long and hard about buying the front fenders, if not some other bits. Especially if they're top quality products.

You could also consider making a front fender that matches the new Grand Sport look without the big chrome badge that everyone's bitching about. There will be a lot of people with grand sport envy next year, so you can get a jump on that now.

Really, if you're making unique body panels for the C6, you need to think subtle changes. No one here's going to buy any total reworkings (like in the import market where they add swoops and water lines or whatever they call that). Adding just a little aggression to the look and making some understated changes is what people are looking for.

Good luck to you.
