I remember seeing the spec's for a proper alignment here before but I cant seem to find it. Did a search but that didnt help much. I do not track my car and it does have z51 if that makes a difference. If someone has them available please post or pm me with them.
The actual factory specs are in post #2 from this thread. You will see there is a lot of slop within the spec. I had an independent shop just tweak the numbers as close to nominal as possible, and I am very happy how well my OEM Supercars are wearing.
I dont really anything about the alignment process. So when you say slop; what do you mean?
Slop = allowed variance from dead on exact.
Let's say the camber of a C6 is -0.45 +/- .60 sooooooo
A setting of -1.05 through the range of +0.25 is totally acceptable as "within specs".
Does that answer "slop"?
Also, I did not see the factory alignment specs in post #2 as mentioned above. I blame this entirly on old age and that I can't find my **** with both of my hands at times soooo here are the stock specs:
