c6 6speed problem help

Hello i have a 2006 c6 vert six speed most of the time wont go into second wants to go into 4th any idea what it could be? thanks greg

skip shift eliminator cags. drive faster or bypass.

Nothing is wrong with your car, it's the feature that helps with better mpg .. most of us installed this, it's cheap and easy to install:

Or go buy the LED fuse and blow the fuse so the LED lights up and replace the CAGS fuse: Specifically read post #14 http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-c...mart-fuse.html

1 to 4 sucks

Greg, There is a solenoid on trans that keeps it in that 1 to 4 mode when your only giving it a small amount of throttle. CAGS eliminator fools the computer so you can drive normally. First mod on my 2001. 2002, and my C6. It actually can be embarrasing.Like they said super simple plug in install. Save the wave

I've been going through the same issue. It's not the shift skipper feature. It's just grueling sometimes trying to put the car into 2nd gear. I hope I'm not hurting the transmission by switching to directly 4th gear. I have no idea why it is like this at times.
