There must be 100's of threads about clear bras, on black and other colors too. Search is your friend.
That being said, I have a 3M one on my black coupe and wouldn't leave home without it
Also that being said, I have yet to see ANY "do it yourself" clear bra kit that was worth a damn....unless you're very very good at that sort of thing.
Get one, installed locally by someone who knows what they're doing is your best bet IMHO.

Good advice. Installer is the key to success and happiness with the product.
I thinking about putting a clear bra on my black C06. Should I or shouldn't I? I found one at www.invisiblemask.com that I like.
If you drive on the highway allot, this is the best mod you will ever do. I just had mine redone. It was put on on a rainy day and didn't lay. Not sure if it was the installer, the rain or a combination. Either way, it looked and due to major scratches from a dog on my hood, I had it replaced today. Now it looks SWEET!
I "saw" an invisible bra on a metallic red Trailblazer SS in the parking lot of the drag strip. Didn't actually see it until he pointed it out to me, so I guess it was a good install. The owner had it done through the dealer.

Just to let you know I know of several people who are having issues with kits from this site. They are not getting what is advertised... and some of them are not even getting refunded their payments. I do not recommend you do this yourself. Find a good installer and have them install the kit. This is not a DIY project if you want it to come out nice. InvisibleMask.com makes it sound like its easy to do... and the kits they sale are broken down into multiple pieces (not advertised/shown on their site) to make it easier for the average installer. The issue is it will not come out clean since there will be numerous seam lines. I have been installing film for years and it takes a long time to get good at it... lots of practice... if you want good results. They are a great investment for your car but the installer is key to the finished product.
It's an absolute must-have IMO. I had mine professionally-installed the day after I drove my 2005 coupe home from the dealer nearly 4 years ago and the car is still completely chip-free. Like others here have said, though, it's not a do-it-yourself project. Spend the money to have it done by a reputable pro and you'll have no regrets. Perhaps if you were to fill in your forum profile someone here could recommend an installer in your area.
Good question. I waxed my car one time (NXT) seems to have left a residue on the edge of the bra. So I have not waxed car again. Now I use Mother's Showtime spray detailer. Love the results. It leaves the car surface feeling slippery & protected.............Joe

The residue along the edge of the clear bra is easy to remove. Use a fingernail and a microfiber towel and GENTLY run it along the edge. You'll get the feel of it after some practice.

Just don't dig your nail into things too hard...
Thanks, I'll give it a try on lower door edge and see what happens...............

You'll also find that rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball will do just as good with little chance of damage.
