Replacement Battery

For those who have replaced the battery, which battery did you use and if you used a different battery why you didn't you go back to factory battery? I'm shopping around for a battery, need advice.

I went with the Optima red top but could have gone with the yellow top since the car sits for extended periods. So far so good.

Okay does $180-200 sound about right for the battery and is there not a warranty on a 2 year old car?

Of course, if the car is 2 years old the battery should be covered.

I went with that same one.. it fits right in also the Optima 35 is a little bit smaller and will also work fine, but due to my racing, I need a DEEP CYCLE battery, and this one fits the bill perfectly its about 4 or 5 lb heaver than the Optima 35 but had more reserve..

The RED top might have more cranking power for a short time, but I need long lasting power to run the fan & Electric water pump for app 10 min after each run with my motor off.. to cool it to 150 deg..

This Battery works like a dream... My OEM was still working ok but its 4 yrs old ... I just put the OEM battery in the garage and put a battery Tender on it once a month...

I paid about $185 that included shipping..
