Man, I have to get one of these DSV wheels, I was planning on waiting till Carlisle but that is such a long time, dont know if I can hold out that long
Marc..
I have an 05 C6 too and just converted the wheel from the 05 style over to the 06+ style in the DSV upgrade (as shown in my earlier post)...so you have a choice of the DSV 05 or 06 style D wheel. With that said it is more costly to go to the 06 style... not only do you need to purchase the DSV wheel but also an airbag module and a new steering column 'clock spring'.

Thanks for the info bud,
Am probably going to just stick with the 05-style DSV Wheel. They are already a super good looking upgrade!!
I have the beige interior, think i will go with the beige/black leather, hopefully will look goood!!
After you order those 06 parts, they are compatible with 05? Also, do you recommend any places to get the 06 parts for the 05?
Thanks!
The 2006 wheel is a direct bolt on for a 2005 car. None of the 2005 parts are transferrable. If you go the 2006 steering wheel route you will need, As noted previously, a 2006 steering wheel. A 2006 drivers side airbag assembly and a 2006 clock spring / horn contact assembly. These are priced on request from any GM dealership. I'd recommend that you get in contact with Gend Culley at GM Parts house (GMpartshouse.com). The assembly can be viewed here but pricing is only by request since it is part of the restraint system.
