A Pillar Bubbles
Has anyone seen very slight bubbles in the A pillar vinyl coverings. I have been seeing this in a 09 coupe when the temperature get very hot. It is reduced with a window shield and goes way when the car interior cools. Anyone else seen this and might it be a warranty issue?

I've noticed it on my 06, I've just been too lazy to stop by the dealer and have it addressed.

Do they just replace it with the same part so I can have the same issue or is there actually a fix for it?

I have a few on the very bottom of the pillar cover, next to the dash pad.
The rest is fine.

I just had my 08 pillars replaced under warranty. It took three weeks for the black pillars to get to the dealer.

Thanks for that feedback. Did they replace the whole pillar or just the cover?

This happens on all model years I believe. The fact that the OP has an 09 pretty much tells us there is no fix. Mine is an 08 and does it all the time in the Miami summer heat.

I had not noticed this at all until it got Kenya hot the other day here in South Texas. When the car cools, it goes away.....

Maybe a tiny ***** with a pin in the middle of the bubble would keep it from happening a second time...just a thought...
