I'm having this exact issue on my 05. The passenger side was always a little squeaky and slow going down, especially in hot weather. Now it will go up fine, but I have to push it while I hit the button to get it to go down. I'm a little hesitant to put any lube on the weather stripping since I don't want a big streak on the window. Are there any adjustments that can be made?
Anyone else have this problem? Sounds like the rubber seal next to the window is tight when it goes up and down. Just wondering if anyone else has this issue...thanks.
I do ...but on the passenger side. It happens when the weather heats up. Must be the rubber expanding in the heat. It stopped when I started using detailer on the windows for car shows. Just a tiny amount ...not a spray frpm the nozzle. Even a spritz on a mf towel is enough.
Clif, when you say "detailer" what, exactly are you using?
Im using Adams detail spray now....but any brand works. It shines up the windows and lubes them also. It repels rain also....if your inclined to drive in the rain.
