try going to the FAQ's and search on brakes. a few comments there on brake noise from pad metal difference issues (dealer notice) and plenty of threads on other possible fixes. as a start, try blowing the brake dust out of the caliper and see if that helps some. good luck!

And if none of those fixes work then....

I changed my rotors and went to ceramics, was quiet for a few hundred miles. Then the squeak was back.

Then I went on a fun run and everyone elses brakes were squealing around the tight corners. Pitiful but a fact of ownership.

There is an anti-squeak grease that you put on the BACK of the pads and on the caliper guides that the pad rides on.

If someone changed your pads they may have not put the grease on.

You can pick it up at any auto supply house. It is easy to do. You can have a mechanic do it for you if you are not comfortable removing the pads.

Go out and do a few repeated hard stops from a speed of 60-80 mph.

I have OEM brakes and they do it from time to time...Yes the hard braking, air blow out, brake lube all get rid of it...For a while...Then it comes back. When I need new brakes, I am listening to the majority and getting ceramic pads...

Normal driving won't work the brakes hard enough.
