Default Squeaky Steering
my 08 has squeaky steering. especially when its in the monring. Left turn right turn all the sameshe squeaks when I rotate the wheel.

should I be worried? anyone else have this problem?

none of my other vettes have had this problem.

In the morning,for about the first hour, I have all variety of creaks, groans and squeaks.

Oh . . . the C6 (2008); no squeaks in steering that I have noticed at any time.

I have an 08 and have never had any squeaks of any kind.

I don't notice any problems while steering just the squeak. A friend told me that it could be the grommet at the firewall needs lube.

I notice in my '09 if I turn sharply into a parking space even at VERY SLOW speeds it squeaks kind of like the tires are squealing.

mine sounds like little mice are turning the steering wheel.
