I have a NPP system(used) on the way to me and should get it in a couple of days. Its coming with a W2M kit as well. Whats a fair price to have it installed on an 06 car? Thanks.
From: The Great Pacific Northwest...........I carry a gun cause a cops too heavy.
The mufflers are easy to change, so I wouldn't pay to much. Alsi if yor car was not NPP equipted from the factory the M2W won't work for you. You will need to order NPP in a Box from Sonofpipedreams. It will have the vacum system you will need in the kit.
I'd say that's a super reasonable price, imo. Drop the existing, put in the new/used, connect everything up, do the M2W, I can see about 1.5 hours or so, yes? Whatever's the going rate, I would've guessed a bit closer to $125-$150, all in.
Quoted $350 or less by Chevy dealer; $200 from local Corvette guy and am still looking. I can see the muffler exchange at $75 but not the addition of the M2W, if you found that deal, it was very a good price.
We'd do it ourselves but don't have a lift and I'm sure I would drop something expensive if we did.
I installed Sunset Orange vacuum system on my C6 on ramps. The install went pretty easy, took about 3 hours to do. The single hardest part was getting the vacuum line onto the back of the intake manifold. (LS3), which you don't have to to do. I took my time, routed everything so there would be no chafing or rubbing. I used some thermal covering for the lines near exhaust pipes just in case. I would guess a shop, on a lift should be able to do the complete install, including mufflers in under 3 hours. Your going to like the sound. The headers make the tone just a bit deeper..

I paid $70 at a local muffler shop. Installed the NPP in a Box in about 20 minutes with car sitting on the ground. As mentioned above the M2W switch will ONLY work on vehicles with NPP option from the factory which is '08 and later.

I did the exact same thing last week. A small shop, works on Volvos, and Corvettes, owner has a 650hp C5, Red Devil on YouTube.
There were 5 vettes there last Friday, charged me 180$.

Spoke to the guy I bought from. He said it comes with NPP in a box and all parts needed for the swap are included.

Thanks to all who gave suggestions. Appreciated.
I got the same system including the M2W(NPP In a Box) i ran the wiring from the storage box in the trunk area up to the fuse box, the shop i went to ran the vacumn tubing up to the manifold(rear connection) and installed the pipes & muffs paid $150 well worth it and it sounds great
I would buy some race ramps and do it yourself. The only reason I say this is because most of these grease monkeys at muffler shops will nick or ding your new pipes. Doing it yourself, you can take the time to make sure it is perfect.
Once the Mufflers are swapped ($75) It only takes about 30 minutes to do the vaccum hoses and electric... you don't NEED a lift... I did jack it up, and put jack stand under it... you can fish the vaccum line above the tunnel plate, with a straightened out coat hanger... To run the wiring, you don't need any tools, it just tucks under.. from the back to the front. You plug in fuse, and attach a ground wire. You do need to drill 2 small holes in the rear cubby (plastic). M2W Retro kit, Very easy to do.

The people you purchased from sell my NPP in a box with every system
I spoke to Rocky a couple hours ago and he told me the same. The whole package came about 2 hours ago. I only ordered it yesterday! Pipes look like new and NPP in a box. Thanks for the link.

Can you also recommend someone to do the install? Thanks
