Dash Cover
I got a new dash cover from Mid Americe that is really nice for my 2008. The instructions say let it sit in the sun for a few hours and it would fit the contour. I did this for about 5 hours. It still has spots that are raised.
Has anyone had this problem? Any idea how to make it fit correctly?

I have an almost new dash out of my 2500 mile 08 i can sell you that is Perfect and as good as a new dash that you can use to replace you worn out dash with for $300 + shipping....

I don't quite understand what a dash cover would accomplish, except an undesirable look (and I'm being kind.) Modern dashes do not bend and distort from sun exposure like cars of the past, at least not the C6 dash anyway. My '05 dash is in perfect condition and I've never covered it, just keep it clean.

since you bought it new from MidAm, I'd call them and ask. in the past, they've been very good with me in answering my questions. it's possible that there's something defective in this piece, or there's some special technique to use.
