Corvettes Plastic Surgery....
This is what I have planned. Goes into bodyshop next week.
Not a ZR1 poser just want a widebody and being without legs I need and Auto. No ZR1 badges (Plus the car was keyed and then bumped at stop light so now I get it all painted for matching purposes) I have a garage of parts. It is like Christmas.

Dude,
It's your car. Do what you want to it. Widebody, ZR1 clone it doesn't matter. Enjoy it for YOU not for anyone else.
I mean we have all seen stuff over the top, Lambo doors and wings big enough to help a C5 Galaxy lift off the ground!!! But for the most part, that is few and far between.
Enjoy your ride, and have fun with the upgrades!!

I'd like to see it when it's done also!!! Seems like it's gonna look great. As for being a poser, who cares. It looks good so why not, right. It's not like you are going to put any badges on there stating something else!! Go ahead cause I would!! The only thing I would get is a aftermarket hood too!!

Looks good like the 2 tone mirror brackets . Maybe you should shoot the whole car to get a good color match.

Nice, they make A pillar fillers in any color and carbon fiber... might be simpler than painting imo

Scott - Before, you had one of the cleanest VY C6's around.
The plans look great and I can't wait to see it when it's completed.

I really like the mirrors. Of course, I like the whole car. It will be a headturner!

Get the rocker panels painted.
I just went through a similar rear wide body conversion / accident repair. Ended up being a complete paint job, including the rocker panels.
