Default Splash Guards

I've seen a lot of your corvette pictures and not a lot of splash guards... I think I'm gonna do it and am trying to decide on the GM stockers or the APSIS. They are very similar but the APSIS looks a little wider. Any info on which you guys prefer and possible installation problems would be much appreciated.

I have the GM ones on my 09 vert. LOVE THEM. They look like they came on the car as original equipment.

No need to put mud flaps on when the GM SPLASH GUARDS are available. They look great and appear to have been engineered for the vehicle (which they were!).

The biggest advantage I see from these is the lack of chipping of the leading edge of the front fenders behind the wheels with these installed. Without them you will have chipping - which looks bad, especially on dark colors.

I've never been a fan of mud/splash guards on a Sports car.
But I just ordered the GM ones for my 09 C6.
The more I kept seeing them on a Vette the more I agree they look like they belong.
I wanted the GM ones because they are un-intrusive.
Actually give the car a nice look, especially in the rear where they blend in with the back part plastic at the bottom.
And they work

I like the GM splash guards the best too. Put them on my car several months ago after they first became available. I think they look the most integrated into the car and don't stand out too much. Maybe not the best protection wise, but they do look like they came on the car from the factory.

I had another splash guard on until GM came out with a factory looking one that looks good on our Vettes

I personally like the Aspis large Z06 guards. They look like they belong on the car.

I agree with the above and have the GM guards but, I think APSIS will offer much better protection

I think the GM splash guards are just the right size for the protection needed on the coupe / convertible fenders. The wider APSIS guards are more appropriately sized for the flared fenders of the ZO6 or wide bodied Vettes.

I have two customers wanting the GM splash guards now. If you decide to go that way go with Gene. He has the best prices around and a great guy to do business with.

I just put the GM splash guards on my MS Vert last night. They look fantastic and I actually think it looks better. It kind of changes the lines just a bit. At first I was worried about the view from the front. I didn't want all of that black plastic looking crap being shown. Well, what it did was clean up the wheel well and it is all black now. Much better looking now. Same goes for the rear wheel well area. All cleaned up and looks great.

I went went Kevin form Parts Taxi. His price is the lowest and shipping was priced at a reasonable rate. His turn around time from everything that I have ordered is about 2 weeks. Little slower then what I would like but I can live with it.

When I get the Vette out I'll post some photos.

Mine looks just like the one above.

You cant go wrong with the GM ones.
As most agree, they look like they belong, and are a little inconspicuous. And they are somewhat functional too - Yep thats right, i tried some different tire dressing and when it slung off, the splash guards kept it off the fenders.
