Feels like....

Being [somewhat only] too questioning, I have to ask:
Can anyone describe the feel, the action, the movement, and any other aspects of the MGW compared to stock C6?
Thanks.

2nd to third, push straight forward (smack it with the palm of your hand)
3rd to 4th, pull straight back.
4th to 5th, needs a little nudge to the right.
5th to 6th, pull straight back with your hand on the left side of the ****.
6th to 5th, push straight forward from the left side of the ****.
5th to 4th, pull straight back.
4th to 3rd, shove it straight forward.
3rd to 2nd, pull straight back with your hand on the right side of the **** (needs a little pressure from the right).
2nd to 1st, push forward, bit of pressure on the right side of the ****.
Important shifts of 1 to 2, 2 to 3, 3 to 4 are straight forward, no thought required. Down shifting from 5th, pull back and it will pop right into 4th, shove it forward right into 3rd.
Sitting at a stop light, it takes a little effort to go from neutral to 1st, but nothing my wife can't handle

The stock shifter is imprecise and ambiguous in finding the correct gear, slops into gear with a rubbery feel, but takes a fairly light effort to make the shifts.
The MGW shifter is precise, snicks into gear with a very gate-like or mechanical feel, but takes considerably more shifting effort.

I just installed the MGW and know that your opinions were very accurate and as precise as the MGW is!

The MGW improves the entire driving experience. Clutch travel can be coordinated smoothly and seems proportionate to each shift.
And I found that my transmission actually has a 2nd and 3rd gears that can be found without fishing for them each time. The 2-3 and the 3-2 shifts now allow the car to be driven like a Corvette.

Thanks,
Peter

I have had them in all of my C6's they are the best in my humble opion.
