try edmunds or KBB to figure out trade in value with the options on the car.

Then thats a guide as to a "really great deal" Also check out Autotrader and Ebay for how much similar equipped cars are being sold for.

You should be under 40k for the top of the line vette (auto, 3lt, low miles)

I've done all that, just tring to get a picture of actual deals made out there.

I'm looking at a 07 pace car replica, which is M6. They all come with Z51 and NAV. It has 8 miles on it. Looking to get it for 39K, but they are resistant. What do you think??

39 as in 39k $. I don't think so, 29 would be a better deal .

Car lists for 67K, and is brand new.

Not worth 39K???

Mine was $35k a year ago... actually 13 months ago. It had 5800 miles on it, 3LT, Z51.

I'm thinking under $30 now.

Why are so many posting their used deals? A question for My8Cars, do you really want a new car that has been sitting around for years undriven? What is the benefit to buying a new car that old?

+1

I'd rather see it with 3000 or so miles on it.

For $39k you can get a fully loaded '08. Pass on it, get an '08 with the LS3 engine, 40 more horses baby!

I agree. I might go to $41K. They've paid floor plan on that car for a little over 2 years. To have a warm body interested in it should make them jump for joy. They probably have an incentive for the salesman that sells the thing, too.

I believe the OP said he has seen the car. I hope so, just to really look it over good for flaws. Good luck!

Used 07 verts with similar options are in the 36K to 40K range from Carmax and those have 5K to 27K miles on them.

39k seems like a good price (as always, assuming it makes YOU happy).

Some of the posts seem to have missed the point about this being for a vert :o

Did you get to test drive an '07? If not, try driving an '07 followed by an '08. My guess you'll wait for a good deal on an '08. 07's shifting is worse (manual or auto) and the steering is unnecessarily stiffer in an '07. Just my 2 cents.....
