it sounds great if you take the mufflers off, there is some drone though from 1750-2000 rpm but it's a pretty aggressive and mean sound....just take them off, only takes about ten minutes and see what you think

it doesn't throw up any error codes, a buddy of mine took his off in 2006 and has 80,000 miles with no problems, sounds similar to borla stingers

Drill a couple 1/2" holes right under the tips, very little drone and sounds pretty decent. I had done this early on before I installed my lS7 manifolds and mufflers. It will really suprise you on the sound and barely noticable if you drill right under the tips (between the tips and the bottom of the muffler) where you have to get down on your knees and look to see them.

Now Now Ease up on the poor guy, probably his first post, (besides how else is he going to get his post count up) not much different than the guys asking whats spelled out in the manual if they would just take the time to read it.

When I need info I'll take some time and do a little reading(searching) on my own. Doing my own homework you could say. Now since its OK I have a few questions maybe you could help me with thanks.Whats the best color? Who makes the best headers? Who has the loudest exhaust? Whats the widest tire I can put on my car? Best floor matts? Best CAI? What transmission is better M6 or A6? What year should I buy? Should I buy a Z06 or Z51? How about a C5 Z06 or a C6 base? That does a 1LT come with? 2LT? 3LT?........
