Default Drag radials!!

i recently purchased some mickey thompson 275/40/17 et street radials, for my c6 m6.i was curious if anyone has them and if they like the tires as well.
someone recently told me that i should put some thin tires in the front to keep car straight and from spinning out.also what is a safe rpm range to launch on them! my car is n/a with h/c and all types of bolt-on's with 446rwhp,411tq

and what rpm's did you lunch. i'm new to this area how far is your town

I meant close to your location, im only about an hour north of you right off of I49 (the big town of Natchitoches, my profile still says my hometown). My best is an 11.47 and i got that last week (7-10-09). My car was dyno'd the exact same way it was when i ran that time and it put down 371 RWHP and 379 RWTQ, my car is an LS2 bolt on car only. My launch RPMs were right around 1100 but my car is a stalled auto 6speed.

if you want to go to the track and try my tires on your car i'd be more than happy to let you.

heres alittle video of how my car comes out of the hole

guy at the track says it's a zo6 is it. from the side view looks like
i see a emblem! i tried lunching around 1500 to 2k rpm and it bogged
3500 seems to be my sweet spot any higher and it spins crazy.tried last
night for the first time. do you turn active handling & traction off or do you do it on comp mode.

no its just a little LS2, got the Z06 fenders on the back and some Z51 emblems. i push the traction button once turning just the traction off leaving the active handling on. where did you go to run state capitol? and what kinda times did you get.

the track will hook alot better than the street especially if its preped good. when you go to the track let me know, im guessing you will be going to state capitol since its the closest to you, right?
