MadVette Insulation Kit
Dave just installed my kit this past weekend and thought I would share my opionion. First of all, based on return on investment, the insulation kit should be everyone's first mod, well, maybe it ties with replacing the crappy stock speakers. Anyway, for a very small investment, you get a much quieter car and it's also a little cooler. The only downside is the cupholder no longer keeps my coffee hot. After watching Dave do the install, I'm convinced that he could knock the job out in four hours - if the phone didn't ring.
I also believe I could have done the install myself, although it would have stretched my patience and would most likely have taken me 8 hours. Bottom line, I have a quieter and cooler car with a better sounding stereo for a minimal investment. I just wish Dave could come up with something to improve our seats!
