Brake grinding
Has anyone experienced a brake grinding noise when shifting into D/R in a a4 equipped (05 auto) it is not a brake squeel its more of grinding noise,and I have already replaced the swps,car has 11,500mi never driven hard,also the car has the Z51 package(dont know if this would matter or not)any info would be helpfull,thanks

Nope - -my `05 is equipped pretty much like yours and I can't say I've experienced anything like that . . . the cars is rolling or stationary?
Any chance its your AC compressor coming on (and having problems) or the serpentine belt slipping?
Until I had the rear diff fluid changed, I did have some noise from the rear under very low speed . . .pulling out of the garage, etc . . .
