Default A/C question

In the past week, I've noticed a few times that when I would crank up the '06 vert and the air conditioning would start, it would blow hot, muggy air for several seconds before it would start cooling.

Granted, it's been plenty hot here in Houston (it's July, what a surprise...), but I don't recall this ever having happened before.

Any suggestion?

Thanks...

That's probably the hot muggy air from outdoors before the A/C system turns on the recirculating controls.

It takes a few seconds before mine comes on.

I'd say it's normal.

Normal and if you use a window cover to block out the sun, the AC will not really fire up full blast until the dash sensor is uncovered so the sun can hit it (assuming this is day time we're talking about... ).
