Vendors!!! Enough!!!
You should setup an email agent that automatically takes all your spam and mails it back to them using an address you know they read like sales. So if the company were Joe Smith Chevrolet, it would be like sales@joesmith.com. That would get 'em lol!
How about those companies that dial your phone randomly to try and sell you something? Right now the big ones are called things like "Mortgage Resuce Group" or "Mortgage Assistance Center of America" or stuff like that lol...
One of them called me and I played along.. They told me they would lower my mortgage in half and all I had to do was send my next 2 mortgage payments DIRECTLY TO THEM rather than to my bank! Can you believe these con artists!? I pitty the poor guy who actually does this.
I actually work as a software developer for a company that writes IVR computer software (which includes outbound dialers). I have often thought about setting up one of my test machines to auto-dial a company that calls me on my cell phone trying to sell something and just repeat a message over and over that will automatically repeat anytime you press a key... lol... I could even have it call them simultaneously on, say 96 different lines at once... That would get their attention I'm sure...
I knew someone who kept getting junk mail from a company at his house, so he collected it all in a box for a year, then shipped it back to them at the end of the year along with a dead fish lol!
"Hello Mr. X I'm from your computer company and we just got an error log from your computer, I'm calling you back so that we can explain how to send us more of the information we'll need in order to fix your computer, so if you're not logged on, please log on I'll tell you what we need to do"..
HUH! My computer, an error log! Uh yea, sure!
"Okay.. give me a minute to get it setup and I’ll let you take it from there" I replied as I put the phone on speaker and laid it down on the counter.. so how long will this (bleeping) scammer hang on.. not long..
Pretty brazen, and they had my name, which I wondered about as I have an unpublished number.. unfortunately some people are going to fall for this and end up having all their keystrokes captured, so much for all their passwords..
I'll head on over there for you and chow down on a few of them.. uh .. hm.. have to be careful what one says about hot dogs as there appear to be some hot dog lovers in this thread..
The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

Most of the cars I've bought for the past eight or nine cars, I've bought on the Internet. My experience is that a lot of so-called Internet dealers do not respond to e-mail.
Doesn't make sense to me, but it's what I've encountered. So, when I get to the point I'm really serious about a car, I call the dealer and do my price negotiating that way.
So far, it's worked for me. I've been happy on the purchase of three Corvettes and four Ford trucks.
