I went for a very short trip to the Post Office. When I got back in my 2008 the Audio was dead. The NAV screen showed everything as it should. Anyone have this happen or know the cure?

Sounds like just a communications issue. I'm betting if you shut it down and restart it will probably come back. If that doesn't do it I'd be checking the fuse. There is a fuse for the radio in the passenger footwell and a fuse for the audio amplifier in the engine compartment fuse box. I'd start with the amplifier fuse.
Mine has dropped preset stations and wouldn't turn on. As I drove the radio started working and after some time the preset stations came back. Go figure.

Larry/car.....are you referring to the XM presets?
My XM radio has done this a few times, but the FM radio hasn't had any problems.

This has happened to me a few times too. I never have figured it out.
It was the FM only.

My presets were gone on FM and XM. I never use AM so didn't have anything preset there. My heater controls had issues too. Everything fixed itself after about 20 minutes of operation.
